Install hm

Download the hm command-line tool and keep it up to date.

hm runs on macOS, Linux and Windows.

Download the file for your computer from the latest release.
Put hm somewhere on your PATH, such as ~/bin or /usr/local/bin.
On macOS and Linux, make it executable: chmod +x hm.
Check it works: hm version.

Updating

hm update --check   # is there a newer version?
hm update           # install it

Updates are signed, and hm checks the signature before installing. hm status tells you when an update is available. Nothing updates automatically.
