You and your agent
Most of the time you just ask your agent and it works out the details. These docs are for when you want to understand what it's doing, or do things yourself. Simple jobs like listing Sites, adding a domain or setting a secret are often quicker to do with hm than to ask for.
Agents don't need these pages. hm --help tells them everything, and it's always up to date with the version they're running.
Four words to know
- Site: one website.
- Workspace: a private copy of the Site where changes are made.
- Preview: a private address that shows one Workspace, so you can check it.
- Live: what visitors see. It changes only when you Publish.
